**Careers that Change Lives**A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.- Evaluates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.- Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.- Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.- Studies equipment performance and reliability.- Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.- Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.- Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**- Bachelors degree required- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience**Nice to Have**- Bachelor Level 8 degree required in mechanical, electrical, reliability engineering, equipment control or related discipline- Degree with 10 years relevant experience or advanced degree with 7 years relevant experience in equipment or maintenance engineering- 10 years relevant direct equipment or maintenance engineering experience- Excellent team building, communications, and leadership skills.- Dynamic team player and can work effectively and proactively on a global team- Good communicator and fluent in English and Spanish, both in writing and speaking.- Travel 25-40%**About Medtronic**Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
