This role will support the sales function within the Smart Energy Americas organization by developing accurate, timely, and professional proposals focused on the Connected Gas, Smart Grid Solutions (SGS) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) industries. To win and execute these projects, the successful candidate will review complex Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to identify, document, and fulfill final customer RFP deliverables.

Key Responsibilities Manage proposal tasks, communicate internal schedules and activity statusProofread and format large complex proposal documents and filesStrong writing and editing skills including grammatical composition in EnglishSupport proposal and sales account management activities in pre-sale, review, and approval meetingsMaintain proposal files in SharePoint, OneDrive, and Salesforce.comConfirm all required proposal deliverables are packaged and received by the customerWrite and revise proposal content, as requiredEdit proposals for spelling, typographical, and grammatical errors, and proper syntax, as well as readability, ease of comprehension, and consistency; reviews for complianceSignificant background in the development of custom strategic content (leveraging strategic messaging/value propositions) and strong editing skills requiredBuild relationships with internal customersYou Must Have: 3+ Years proposal writing and delivery experienceBachelor's degree (BA or BS in Business, Engineering, or Communications)We Value: Ability to learn new skills and be adaptable to new technologiesExperience in the electric utility, AMI, demand response, energy efficiency, or oil and gas industriesCustomer facing marketing communicationAbility to work with multi-disciplined teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to work beyond normal business hours as specific projects and deadlines dictateFluent written and oral EnglishStrong communication and organizational skillsA passion for winningSelf-motivatedProject manager and technical mindsetHoneywell provides a dynamic and creative international work environment with a competitive salary and professional development plans.
