.**Job Description**:**Additional Job Description**:**Key Requeriments**- 5+ years of professional experience in manufacturing or manufacturing engineering.- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing processes required to support core make and assembly, casting, finishing, and pre machining processes.- Fluent English- Bachelor's Degree: Electronic Engineer, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer, or other Engineering degree. Availability to travel national /international**Responsibilities**:- Work with multi-disciplined teams to understand functional requirements, contribute to generation of innovative ideas, develop project plans and implement appropriate solutions.- Support plant-floor equipment installation, debug and runoff. Track open issues and countermeasures for controls-related issues, resolve in timely manner to meet project timing.- Lead lesson learn events through the project.- Participate in Risk Assessment activities for new or retooled equipment. Work with CME Controls to ensure open issues are resolved.- Participate with CME team on reviewing and approving electrical and pneumatic equipment designs, ensuring use of GM-approved components and compliance with GM electrical specifications.- Preproduction build support and issue resolution, including pre-production Bill of Materials.- Supports and teach the team on g-Comply. Red tag, Yellow tag, and Green tag sign off activities.- Establishes equipment installation/Agile tracking methodologies and review weekly/daily with OEM and contactor.- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the Launch Deliverables to the final customer.- Monitor and track expenditures for the project implementation.- Problem Resolution Tracking System/Issue Resolution prioritization and follow up.- Communicates, coordinates and consults with engineering departments and customers.- Stays abreast of new technology and competitive products.- May travel to plants if needed.- Performs other related duties as assigned.Diversity and inclusion are our strengths.
