We are looking for a talented **Sr. Finance Analyst (Temporary 6 months)** to join our team specializing in **Finance** for our **CUMMINS** in **San Luis Potosí, SLP, México**.
**Job Summary**:
The Sr. Finance Analyst is responsible for the preparation of complex financial analysis and reports and their interpretation. In addition, he/she supports the annual budget process, expense or staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting. This position also includes managing resources for the execution of fixed asset projects and tracking their capitalization, write-offs and changes.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Prepare complex financial analyses and reports for departmental management.
- Develop and present special analyses, reports and studies for management.
- Collaborate with assigned organizational units to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting.
- Consolidate and prepare statistical reports of financial data, including financial performance, discrepancy explanations, and cost analysis.
- Supervise and mentor less experienced financial analysts.
- Manage capitalization processes, asset write-offs and turnarounds.
- Document processes for internal controls and evaluate project ROI compliance.
- Monitor and close actions arising from internal control reviews.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Intermediate work experience as a professional in the area of study.
- Experience in accounting, management and administration of fixed assets.
- Experience with USGAAP and internal controls.
- Experience in project follow-up.
- Advanced English.
- Ability to follow processes, maintain order and organization, and meet KPI's.
- Self-starter and decision making skills.

**Education**:
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or other related field is required.
