Eaton's VEH NAT North America Truck division is currently seeking a Sr. Finance Leader.
**What you'll do**:
As part of the finance/accounting group, this position is responsible for reporting & analyzing financial results. This person is expected to lead the operations and other functions (PLM's, staff. supervisors, etc.), through timely and accurate achieving and/or exceeding financial goals. This position supports Finance Manager for ensuring financial accounting activities at the location are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, local statutory requirements and Eaton Corporate policies and practice. This role will lead the development of and analysis of forecasts and actual performance and operational metrics, inventory accounting as well as being responsible for the participating in the profit plan with a focus on cost savings projects, capital and sales and cogs. Will be responsible to elaborate a weekly operating review and presented to Finance Manager and Controller. Ensure that all production volume changes are reflected in budget adjustment and will be responsible for expenses limits communications for all productive areas. This position will be responsible to create a development plant for the direct reports. Will be the leader for end month process and CI improvement in this activity. Will work closely with the GFSS to ensure all invoices and process are keep in timely performance and compliance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lead the preparation of the profit plan, rolling forecast and weekly performance reporting. Drives business to meet or exceed short term & long-term goals, initiatives and expectations.
Review, analyze, and evaluate department budget system. Develop and implement reports for management use in evaluating results against performance targets.
Provide business partnership to all areas of plant regarding functional expertise and cross-functional support, providing guidance and education as needed to plant personnel to achieve financial objectives. Act as advisor and provide counsel to plant staff and personnel regarding financial operations and interpretation of financial information.
Support of cost accounting processes and general finance and accounting and finance projects
Support the process to identify and quantify cost out opportunities and related data capture in database. Ensure integrity of financial information related to cost out projects.
Support implementation of improvements to monthly closing procedures ensuring accuracy and timeliness, as well as continuously develop and improvement of financial modeling and tools.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of data to the various Eaton systems (Oracle, Encore, DFT, OBIEE, BSC, Dashboard, etc.)
Supports annual physical inventory activities ensuring compliance with corporate procedures and accuracy of physical count.
Responsible for sales accounting, Conc and other reporting and support on general budget control, sales & cost analysis, key contact for maquila accounting.

**Qualifications**:
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Bilingual: Spanish and English, the later one at least at 75% in both writing and verbal.
Three + years of experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting is a plus.
Technical capability to prepare, analyze and interpret financial and operational data/reports.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specially spreadsheet software packages Excel
Sound working knowledge of US GAAP, Sarbanes Oxley and local statutory requirements (MX GAAP).
Understanding of global business issues, including foreign currency impacts, effective hedging protocols and local customs and duty requirements.
Oracle manufacturing / financial knowledge a plus.
