Reporting to the VP Finance, Industrial Business, you as a Sr. Finance Manager, Industrial Business will be responsible for all aspects of financial management including business partnering, planning, forecasting, reporting and controlling of the business unit.
The position will also interface heavily with Corporate FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, and Business Sales & Marketing groups to provide insightful analysis on business unit performance.
This position is the lead commercial finance role for our $300M global Industrial Products business.
About the job:
- Business Unit Finance Partnering and Controlling.- Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.- Identify and address finance and accounting issues as they arise; ensure understanding and compliance across business with company policies/processes.- Ensure effective internal controls are in place supporting compliance with GAAP, SOX, and applicable laws and rules for financial reporting.- Coordinate with external and internal auditors as needed.- Proactively drive actions to maximize business opportunities and mitigate issues.- Provide timely analysis of financial performance showing key drivers versus target.- Infuse cost consciousness and awareness to business unit on resource allocation decisions that optimize spend and maximize returns.- Take ownership of on-going reporting and provide analysis to the business unit leadership team and corporate.
Below are some on-going outputs being managed.- BU Income Statement and Balance Sheet results.- Site, Product, and Customer profitability.- Capital investments.- Supply chain costs.- M&A support and ongoing integration with Littelfuse.- Business unit budget management.- Strat Plan, Annual Plan & Quarterly P&L Forecast.- Support the annual planning process.- Lead financial start plan, annual plan, and quarterly forecast process for the business unit.- Work closely with the key team leaders in determining robust assumptions, driving the plan and forecast model.- People Management.- Directly supervise a global team of 5.- Provide coaching, development, and training to direct reports.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila or Matamoros, Tamaulipas.
About you:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance with CPA; MBA is a plus.- 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in business finance support and controlling.- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.- Proven people development and leadership skills.- Prior experience effectively communicating and presenting to divisional and corporate leadership.- Exhibits a high level of autonomy as demonstrated via independent decision-making, prioritizing own workload and project management skills.- Outstanding relationship, influencing, and communication skills with all levels of the organization.- Experience using ERP systems is required; Use of OneStream, Power BI, BPC, or other analytical reporting tools is a plus.- Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.- Financial Modelling experience.
