This position will support Manager of Finance with monthly actuals covering P&L (revenue and overhead) and capital expenditures. The position will also be involved in monthly and quarterly close process and provide support to both Controllership and the Business Unit Finance Team. The individual will have a unique opportunity to gain insights into multiple Animation lines of business positioning them for long term growth.**Responsibilities**:- Prepare regular and ad-hoc month-end and quarter-end journal entries.-- Prepare and manage development write-offs and reclasses on a quarterly basis.-- Assist with preparation of billing schedules for all WB Animation titles and work with Deal Processing team to settle funds monthly.-- WWTVM - Balance sheet clean up (run reports and rec against Shield IO's)-- Digital - Download & tag SAP Reports monthly-- Assist with creating capital expenditure purchase orders related to IT projects.-- Assist in preparing quarterly DC Royalties schedules.-- Make recommendations on process improvements and standardization to gain greater efficiency and effectiveness within the finance organization.-- Prepare schedule of production cost to complete balances. Reconcile the data in the SAP Project system to the General Ledger. Analyze and research unusual items. Initiate any necessary corrections. After full validation of balances, request updates to the Ultimates system and the General Ledger.-- Review Released Inventory balances for amounts that can be moved to Fully Reserved.-- Analyse Accrued Production Cost liability account for necessary adjustments.-- Prepare and/or review of balance sheet reconciliations-- Quarter -End Deliverables (e.G. Supplemental schedules, Fottnotes, etc.).-- Other special projects as required.**_ JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS_****Work Experience**- 3+ years previous work experience in an accounting or finance field.-- Highly motivated, analytical, proactive, and self-sufficient-- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
