Sr. Financial Analyst (Corporate Finance)
Overview:
- The core responsibilities of the role are to provide F&PA support to the General Administration Leader and reporting to the Manager of Finance.
- This is a highly visible role, having frequent interaction with the company's senior management (G&A), both regionally and globally.
- Seeking an astute individual that has a strong finance foundation with the ability to be hands on, to support various levels of decision makers within G&A, as well as within the functional Finance organization at Blue Yonder.
- This position will have the ability to influence overall direction in the assigned areas of G&A by supporting key business processes, developing models to support and inform the business, performing data analysis in support of key measures and assisting in aligning with their strategy.
Scope:
- Drive adherence to budget and provide in depth analysis of variances, opportunities and risks
- Preparation of results, deliverables and insights to leadership two days prior to due date
- Deep engagement with all levels of the organization to provide feedback, insights and business direction to the G&A leaders
What you'll do:
Business Partnering:
- Support General Administration leader and staff on a day to day to basis
- Work closely with Operations Director to drive financial performance
- Supporting General Administration direct reports on how to drive financial performance and forecast accuracy in their practice areas.
- Provide insightful commentary on financial business performance and risks. Provide and recommend corrective actions and expected range of outcomes.
Budgeting, Forecasting and Analytics:
- Review costs to ensure G&A team are within budget and operating effectively in line with strategic plan
- Co-ordinate annual budget and plan, including deliverables, within G&A Ops teams
- Co-ordinate Monthly forecasting process within G&A ops teams
- Create monthly financial reporting deck and narrative reporting
What we are looking for:
- Significant, broad financial planning & analysis and management accounting experience
- Experience as a finance professional in a technology environment.
- Clear understanding of key processes and metrics of a successful G&A organization
- Experience of working in an international organization, ideally including experience of working with off-shore resources.
- Evidence of the ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, growth environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet concurrent deadlines, organize time and priorities and work well as a member of a global team.
- Outstanding inter-personal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the company and globally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain financial concepts to the business.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish is required
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem solving capability
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
- In-depth FP&A systems user knowledge, ideally Hyperion. Excel superuser.
