Job Description
As a key member of the Business Navigation Finance organization, you will support all division level financial planning, and analysis processes supporting the Manufacturing & Global Supply Chain division. Additionally, you will financially own support for: (1) Global Inventory performance, (2) Global Inventory Obsolesce and Surplus Risk assessment, and (3) Global Inventory metrics and standard reporting. As a Sr. Financial Analyst, you will be relied on to act as the primary point person connecting with MGSC Business Advisors globally, as well as our global finance groups for CED, Health, ASD, PSD and Global Sales in all matters pertaining to Inventory.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with support areas leaders to report on performance against financial targets on the inventory and Inventory Obsolesce and surplus space.
- Develop and improve input and output processes supporting the MGSC Quarterly Forecast. Support Financial Business Advisor in developing communications for various forums and audiences.
- Work with operating partners to define reporting needs and prepare and present both recurring and ad hoc reports leveraging Power BI. Collaborate with the Financial Systems group to drive all reporting and analytics capability improvements and training roll out as required.
- Financially lead projects requiring complex modeling, recommendation development and decision influence.
- Support month-end close processes to ensure accurate monthly reporting of MGSC P&L, balance sheet metrics and annual audit.
- Effectively collaborate across finance groups including leadership of cross-training and process improvement activities to drive duplication of skills across core finance support areas.
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and compliance procedures guided by strong Essence and Values.
Required Profile
3-5 years of progressive finance and business navigation experience with track record of driving improved financial results.
Direct experience with high volume, global supply chain organizations is a plus.
Must have strong communication skills, business acumen, and technical systems aptitude.
