**_What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health_**
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
- Prepare detailed inventory reconciliations by comparing perpetual inventory vs GL inventory accounts and solve any variance to ensure an accurate and clean inventory balance sheet.
- Provide guidelines to supporting teams or members who provide support to this role
- This position is the first contact that provides support to supply chain and operations at the site.
- Participates in the preparation of the annual budget and annual cost roll up.
- Prepare financial forecast for the site as required.
- Prepare and present analysis of operating expenses vs. budget and frozen forecast.
- Prepare analysis of manufacturing variations by cost element (Labor, burden, Material, Mfg support)
- Responsible for the analysis of the volume produced, trends and impact on absorptions.
- Prepare and submit reports that are required and reflect the results of the plant.
- Validate projects to reduce expenses.
- Participate in the annual inventory of materials and/or any other inventory of materials required by the site.
- Support with the preparation of KI (Key Indicators)
- Participate in the closing of the month, prepare and process policies as well as analysis of results
- Prepare standard cost projections for products in development and / or transfers.
- Implement continuous improvement projects that optimize finance processes using the DMAIC methodology.
- Comply with the necessary security measures to prevent accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental contingencies within the company.

Qualifications_**
- 4-8 years of experience
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree preferred
