Primary purpose of the position: Responsible for leading efforts to analyze and define detailed specifications for business systems which map to business processes. Performs as an expert at driving solution delivery by facilitating requirements analysis and design activities with the business to accurately determine future system requirements. Ensures solutions are in alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint, the solutions architecture and ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and policies. Ensures that all information technology investments are clearly aligned with the priorities of the business. Responsible for team guidance and delivery of complex, technical solutions to business needs.
Essential Responsible Areas: 1. Leads efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyze, design and implementation business solutions for complex business problems.
2. Partner with business analysts and respective cross-functional business groups (e.g. Finance, HR, IT, etc...) to elicit functional and non-functional requirements
3. Proactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs).
4. Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenges the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
5. Participate in defining the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware.
6. Ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and reflect the architecture appropriately.
7. Collaborates with other divisions IT leads as well as other stakeholders to align solution in support of the business' tactical and strategic plans. Aligns IT goals with business needs.
8. Researches emerging technologies and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, improve flexibility or better support business requirements.
9. Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants
10. Understand existing and anticipated application functionality, including cloud-based offerings, that meet business demand.
11. Assist the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new application systems and modules
12. Partner with key strategic solutions partners for small and large scale engagements to help develop the vision of the technology service
13. Manage the configuration, setup, and maintenance of application-related solutions
14. Mentors other analysts on the team by providing guidance and hands-on solving of complex problems.
Professional & Education Qualification Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college level education. Bachelor's degree in relevant field required. Job related experience for 5+ years minimum. 5+ years development experience implementing solutions for complex systems supporting business processes. 3+ years of leadership. Experience in driving software and technology solutions in large, complex organizations. Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business improvements Experience in driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi. Skills Ability to be flexible about project changes and dynamically mitigate risks in the moment with mid-course corrective action Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously Appropriately manages customer expectations regarding scope, schedule, and budgetary parameters Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong estimation skills and techniques required. Proven project planning and management skills. Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations. Strong analytical skills with the ability to learn new things Knowledge Experience implementing or managing at least one time and attendance system in Mexico in the last 2 yearsExperience with using, implementing or configuring Infor WFM or Infor Workbrain a bonusA high level understanding of Mexico national and regional regulatory requirements for time and attendance related activitiesPrevious exposure to or a high level understanding of ADP Streamline Payroll a bonusStrong English Language skills is a must, written and spokenIs there anything else you are wanting to cover / confirm?
In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in field; strong development skills in relevant technology. Business process knowledge preferred (e.g., Plan-to-Produce process, manufacturing execution systems). Expertise in various software development methodologies and applicability, e.g., XP, iterative.
