Sr Geoscience Service Consultant - Petrophysicist

The Role

Provide formation evaluation services to Oil & Gas client companies, helping them achieve and enhance their subsurface objectives using state-of-the-art petrophysical, rock physics, geomechanical, and other formation evaluation methods. Work with a team of geoscientists to achieve a successful outcome on all projects. Drive software outcomes from these services projects.

Your Impact
- Supports clients locally and remotely by working with a team of geoscientists to solve complex subsurface issues with state-of-the art software, properly using company resources, company processes and systems for project management, project execution, and project reporting.
- Executes formation evaluation activities and integrated projects to completion to customer satisfaction.
- Understands technical and contractual requirements of projects to establish a trust relationship with the customer.
- Communicates progress of projects through weekly reporting and presentations. Can consolidate key methodologies and parameters in an informative end of project report.
- Conducts projects with regular meetings with the client following the principles and best practices set by the Aspen Tech Subsurface Services team.

What You'll Need
- Minimum Bs in the Geosciences
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in formation evaluation
- Must be capable of carrying out formation evaluation activities and projects in part or in full by independently making key decisions on methodology and parameterization.
- Experience with Aspen Technology, Inc.'s Formation Evaluation Suite (Geolog) or equivalent suite.
- May require a minimum amount of travel.
- Cross geoscience discipline experience a plus
- Advanced written and verbal skills in English
