**SUMMARY**
This role is within the Brand Strategy and Creative Team. Serves as support in overseeing the development and translation of marketing materials from English to Spanish, including Print and all communication assets; proofread all materials to ensure they are letter-perfect and mistake-free. This person is responsible for comprehensive project management of their work, maintaining deadlines, escalating issues to their manager, and communicating status and needs clearly across teams. Is available to help the Private Label Packaging team when translation support (English Spanish) is needed on the artwork proofs, coordinated by Global Sourcing. Coordinates project assignations, and meeting activities, and consistently follows up on all open projects.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Responsible for assisting the Brand Strategy and Creative Team in translating materials from English to Spanish and proofreading all materials including Print and all communication assets; ensuring they are letter-perfect and mistake-free.
Is available to help the Private Label Packaging team when translations from English to Spanish are needed on the artwork proofs coordinated by Global Sourcing.
Maintains and improves the Translation Memories, and the AZ Multilingual Dictionary
**REQUIREMENTS**
A bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Foreign Language or equivalent.
Five to seven years of experience in Editorial design experience, translation, and/or language teaching.
Special Certifications or Technical Skills:
- TOEFL (English Spanish) can translate and write properly.
- Adobe Creative Suite design tools knowledge (Required: Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficient in the use of MS Office product suite
- Ability to multi-task, plan, and prioritize multiple projects & tight deadlines.
Self-driven, excellent English communication skills, interpersonal, able to perform simultaneous translation.
