**Work Schedule**Standard (Mon-Fri)**Environmental Conditions**OfficeResponsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources strategies in the assigned country/region, aligned with the organization's objectives, local regulations, and company policies.This position functions as a trusted advisor to colleagues and leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, talent management, performance management, professional development, employee relations, compensation & benefits planning, and leadership development.Partner with and support various stakeholders in key business areas to ensure that business goals are achieved while organizational capabilities are developed in a fast-paced matrixed organization. Ensure that the HR function is effective, efficient, and well-regarded among managers and colleagues.**Main responsibilities**- Partner with local leaders, CoEs and broader HR team, in the development and implementation of HR initiatives that support the achievement of Thermo Fisher Scientific strategic objectives.- Recommend and implement strategies for developing and maintaining a positive colleague experience in alignment with Thermo Fisher's culture.- Develop and ensure a consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures compliant with country's regulations and corporate guidelines.- Advice on employee relations as required to enhance workforce performance and productivity, identifying, and addressing people and organizational risks.- Ensure competitiveness and internal equity by supporting and advising on issues related to compensation and benefits.- Identify opportunities for improvement of processes related to the HR department, proposing efficient solutions and best practices. Challenges the status quo and champions new ideas.- Support the development of manager capability. Provide mentorship and feedback to leaders as the need arises.- Participate in additional HR projects and initiatives, as required.**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:- Experience in Human Resources Generalist role (3-5 years).- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, training and development.- Excellent interpersonal and influence skills.- Experience of working in a fast-paced and matrix environment with a high level of change, would be ideal.- Experience with WorkDay would be an advantage, but not essential.
