.Indirect Material Buyer will be responsible to manage sourcings, contract execution and supplier performance for an assigned set of commodities.
**The buyer is accountable for the following activities**:To define or contribute to the Commodity Strategy (COMMS) of his/her perimeterTo prepare and manage RFQ (Request for quotation) in line with the bidlist defined through the commodity strategy of the perimeter in chargeTo make supplier Recommendation (REC) during Sourcing Table decision meetingsTo generate the Purchase Agreement (contract) in line with the supplier selection made (REC)**To ensure contract execution**: terms & conditionsTo manage escalation level with suppliers when needed for performance issuesTo prepare, manage, execute resourcingsTo manage and negotiate purchasing performance through negotiating and monitoring the whole set of available leveragesTo coordinate and prepare various business reviews with suppliersTo manage the administrative work attached to these activities (Purchase orders, amendments, etc)**To manage reportings (eg**: Performance roadmap)Main deliverablesRecommendation of suppliers according to sourcing timing, cost targets and commodity strategyElaborate and ensure the signature of the Purchase Agreement and or GT&CsEconomical performances including VO, in line with Division and Commodity Group's targetsAll business administration linked to this position**Basic Qualifications**:Bachelor's degree in BusinessFive years of experience in relevant field.Ideally, many years of professional experience as a buyer in the international environmentMust be well organized, self-motivated, capable of managing conflict, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, build intercultural competence, maintain strong relationships, and compile complex informationMust be capable of succeeding in a fast-paced environment, effectively interface with cross-functional teams, and external business partnersPerform independent price/cost analysis and economic comparisons to facilitate negotiations and finalize contractsDevelop and implement new markets, sources, and strategies for global procurement, possess strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically.Strong communication skills; capable of presenting to all levels including executive managementProficient in MS Office**Preferred Qualifications**:Master's degreeExperience in the Automotive IndustryStrong leadership skills**Language Skills**: Negotiating in English (oral and written) other foreign languages are desirable**Experience**: SAP; Qlik and AribaOur benefits reflects the FCA commitment to helping you reach your personal and professional goals.
