**Your Job**
The Inventory Control Sr Supervisor is responsible for designing and implementing processes that improve the productivity of material supply to the production floor, controlling excess inventory in WIP, and reducing the impact of lost inventory with a defined total process.
This role will focus on streamlining material movement strategies, implementing control level inventory processes, and creating system infrastructure to measure productivity.
**Our Team**
The Inventory Control Team is responsible for various tasks to ensure the accuracy and management of inventory.
**What You Will Do**
- Optimize material movement strategies to minimize inventory risk in WIP.
- Implement inventory control processes and tools.
- Establish system infrastructure for productivity measurement per person, per shift, and per movement.
- Collaborate with warehousing and inventory control teams to ensure transaction control methods are effective, and system accuracy is maintained.
- Work with multidisciplinary groups to integrate Lean Manufacturing in Supermarkets and production areas.
- Automate processes in Supermarkets and production with systems like Kanban and robotics.
- Document defined processes within the plant's Quality Management System.
- Ensure procured items meet quality standards and specifications.
- Support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs.
- Manage responsibilities detailed in control plans associated with this position.
- Control day of supply in WIP, WO AGING, and plan attainment.
- Manage total material loss, identify risks in WIP, and establish a high-performance team.
**Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)**
- Bachelors or Engineering Degree
- Previous experience on similar role.
- Experience with a proven track record in Kaizen implementation and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience guiding teams within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, critical thinking, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- English proficiency is a must.
- Availability for various work schedules
**What Will Put You Ahead**
- Experience on Planning is a plus.
- Developer software Engineer
- Vast knowledge of SAP or other ERP.
