Sr. Java Developer

**Role: Sr. Java Developer****Location: Remote****Duration: contract****Must Have Skills**:- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing backend / middleware systems, using Java language.- Understanding of common Java frameworks (Tomcat, JiBX, Log4j, GWT).- Familiarity with Linux environments and bash scripting.- Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines. Experience setting up / configurating complex jobs in Jenkins- Ability to work and communicate with Remote team members in different timezones- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).**Nice to Have Skills**:- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services and terraform.- Working knowledge of distributed cache solutions.- Working knowledge of message queuing services such as IBM MQ.- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform is highly desirable.- Understanding of regular expressions.- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering**Job Type**: ContractContract length: 12 monthsPay: Up to $56.35 per hourExpected hours: No more than 40.00 per week
