We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer II who is responsible for full-stack development on everything from customer-facing web and mobile applications using some of the latest open-source frameworks, to highly available RESTful services, to back-end Java-based systems and API development supporting databases and event-based platforms. Must have experience writing secure, scalable, and performant code in a cloud environment and be ready to design and build for a cloud-agnostic global deployment.
Role and Responsibilities: Develops and demonstrates an advanced knowledge on developing, implementing, and supporting solutions using features of Java.Understands UI/UX vision and business goals, infrastructure, and environments.Ensures implementation of development standards processes by way of training to team and reviews.Advises on framework, effort estimations for projects, and some technical coaching of other team members.Ensures the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements.Demonstrates knowledge of and applicability of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.Participates in the establishment of deployment process/standards for the project.Participates in the design discussions and development activity.Required Experience and Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.Spring/spring boot-based Java Microservices with 12-factor implementation experience.Experience with Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins.Setting up CI/CD, process automation and other DevOps best practices.Hands-on coding experience with JAVA/C/C++ programming languages.Rx-Java, spring reactive and similar technology experience would be preferred.Experience in building re-usable components, TDD, BDD, Kafka, CQRS, web application security (like OWASP).Solid implementation experience in building, logging & exception handling frameworks.AppDev Standards identification, creation, and adoption.Participate in Conduct Issue Management System (MIMS) issue postmortem.Resolving scaling and stability issues with Monolith to Microservice conversion.Strong knowledge of Verification of partner and third-party software and APIs.Enterprise working experience is a must.Experience with MongoDB: aggregation, queries, pipeline.
5+ years' experience in Microservices architecture.
Experience mentoring junior team members.
