**Description**The Senior Linux Administrator will be a part of a global team that delivers networking, compute, storage, and collaboration capabilities for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120,000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. This role will have the opportunity to join in on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out Koch Global Services over the next several years creating long term value!**What You Will Do In Your Role**:- Configure, monitor, and maintain various Linux OS's and environments.- Monitor system performance using standard tools (Logic Monitor, and Automox)- Support and assist in planning capacity, system tuning and vulnerability management activities.- Work directly with your customers collaboration continuously improving their server infrastructure.- Collaborate on a global level with remote plant personnel, vendors, and other IT teams to provide server support and consultation.- Follow change control processes and communicate across IT teams to eliminate risk and maintain level of service required.- Work with a digital workforce team to bring in your ideas for automation of regular mundane tasks, improve efficiency, eliminating waste & challenge the status quo.- And so much more, at Koch, you are empowered to self-actualize, so you are working on what you want to work creating win/wins for your growth and value to Koch and customers.**The Experience You Will Bring**:**Requirements**:- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to learn quickly.- 2+ years of experience in Linux system administration- 1+ years of Cloud computing in both AWS and Azure 1+ years of server virtualization**What Will Put You Ahead**:- 2+ years of experience with HP-UX and AIX system administration- Certification of AWS and Azure cloud technologies.- Experience in Python or other scripting languages, to automate, optimize & innovate- Experience with multiple Linux OS systems, Ubuntu, Red Hat, SUSE, etc.- Experiencewith Ansible or CI/CD(continuous integration, continuous development) pipeline fundamentals.- Experience with containter administration
