This position is responsible for the MEXPORT market (Mexico and Exports), which is the largest market, representing 65% of the value of Latin America, so it has a major impact on the decisions taken.Responsible for the logistic flow of inbound, from port to door, warehouse management strategy in the State of Mexico, and distribution to customers nationwide, with the management of all the inputs involved and the respective BIDs.Also responsible for the Export operation, where customers in Central America are supplied from China.Set expectations at the beginning of the month, estimating Mattel operation capacities, customer capacities, and order arrival estimates, dealing with changes during the month and meeting the monthly commitment.The seasonal nature of the industry generates increases in storage capacity, transportation, and personnel vs. low season, leading to a subsequent decrease in resources.Multi-areas alignment to balance service, cost, and sales targets.Personnel management, promoting Mattel values. Must be fiscally prudent while mitigating risk in all aspects of Logistics and Customs related functions, internal controls per (SOX) requirements related to Mexico Distribution Center, internal audits.Ongoing strategy on transport security to minimize risks (Distribution Center and Transports).Lead and comply with Mexico Customs requirements.Define and implement logistics cost management strategies.Ensure customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints to maximize revenue, market share, and profit for the company and customer, and support Finance in reconciling logistics costs.Foster and develop strong partner relationships with logistics partners in inbound/outbound carrier development
