- Leads the safety, quality, delivery, inventory, productivity, forecasting, and routine business reviews within Tijuana with the support of Plant leadership.
-Ensures cost of poor-Quality meets scrap cost based on standards at a minimum.
Drive down standard scrap costs and improve internal and external quality.
(Reduce COPQ and Customer Complaints/NoEs) -Lead the S&OP Supply Planning, including rough cut capacity planning (RCCP), labor and machine forecasting, roll-up of plant financials as part of the Financial Reconciliation, and own the execution of the plan.
-Cost: ensure all P&L ledger items are met to achieve desired cost targets to improve gross margin.
Achieve budgeted earned hours and absorption requirements -Working capital: Inventory
- achieve budgeted days on hand (DoH).
Reduce XS inventory, and manage PFO.
-Cascade strategic objectives from Segment, Business Unit and Operations functional leadership utilizing Hoshin, X-Matrix Concepts -Drive the creation and deployment of continuous improvement initiatives which enable functional areas and the site to meet or exceed its operations plans.
-Set and clarify requirements and expectations for direct and matrixed reports based on the strategic direction and needs of the business.
(includes Policy Deployment & Strategic Workforce Planning) -Lead overall people strategy within safety, well-being, culture (engagement and inclusion), and workforce planning strategy.
-Plan, direct, and monitor production activities and customer deliveries with the objective of optimizing Organizational resources to meet or exceed established targets for Safety, Quality / Compliance, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost
Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business preferred -Minimum 10 years' or more experience working in a manufacturing organization -Minimum 7 years as a plant manager of management experience required, with proven success in driving transformational change and continuous improvement while simplifying processes and increasing production -General project leadership experience -General knowledge of financial terms and concepts -Lean and/or six sigma experience (Green Belt) -Experience working with multiple customers and suppliers in a low volume high mix industry -Experience in molding is a plus -Experience in the electronics industry is a plus.
