The Regional Head of Sales Operations will lead and execute consistent sales methods, process, and tools for the Regional sales team and market clusters in Latam. He/she will lead the country monthly sales operating rhythm process and tools. He/she will oversee the sales information dashboard and sales efficiency through sales routes efficiency and routines. Sales operations will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our sales operations and processes, helping to maximize revenue and profitability.
Top AccountabilitiesOperating Discipline: Oversees the annual sales planning process and monthly operating rhythm.Manages/Develops a standardized Sales/Customer Calendar, Annual Account Planning Cadence, and Monthly Selling Operating Imperatives for the Business Segment.Omni Metrics & KPIs: Collaborates with customer marketing on the required metrics and KPIs to run an omni business. Actively manages tracking of sales metrics/KPIs.Ensures that all sales teams are aligned and working towards common goals. Manages the sales dashboard and market communications, ensuring that all stakeholders are up-to-date on sales performance and market trends.Long Range Planning & Annual Planning: Leads Long Range Planning process development and the Annual Account Planning process within the Business Segment while collaborating with COE leadership to generate optimum results for Newell.Sales Policy procedures and Administration: Coordinates the development and maintenance of centralized selling resources, contract process management, any/all sales/customer distribution list and collateral (i.e. customer contact list, customer calendar, pricing files, sales policies).Enforces sales policies and procedures, including new customer setup and customer-specific SKUs.Drive sales efficiency and cost to serve: Identifies and implements sales process improvements and best practices. Measures sales team efficiency in terms of their sales routes, lines productivity, and cost to serve.Develops and maintains sales tools and frameworks, such as sales playbooks, templates, and training materials, to support the sales team in achieving their targets.Where applicable, deploy and control One Newell merchandisers resources: Ensures that they are aligned with sales objectives and delivering maximum value in store execution.Sets and constantly reviews the stores and customers which will have merchandising support.Responsible for merchandiser training, KPIs, and performance in conjunction with the agency.Leads third party agency service level, commercial agreement, and investment.Experience & Qualifications RequiredMinimum 10+ years of experience in sales operations, sales management, or a related field.Proven track record of driving sales efficiency and cost to serve improvements.Knowledgeable about sales, sales systems, project management, and a strong customer service mindset.Fully bilingual (English and Spanish) a requirement.Strong analytical skills and experience working with data analysis tools.Familiarity with sales processes and tools, including CRM systems and sales automation tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Excellent project management and ability to prioritize, as well as make sound business/financial decisions without 100% of the information.Detail-oriented with a passion for driving sales efficiency and cost to serve.Strong situational leadership skills.Strong enterprise thinker, thinking first about company objectives and goals.Ability to navigate and influence as well as build relationships across various functional groups.Adaptable to change; able to evolve as the broader organization develops and evolves.Experience with sales automation to drive cost to serve.Newell Brands (NASDAQ: NWL) is a leading global consumer goods company with a strong portfolio of well-known brands, including Rubbermaid, Sharpie, Graco, Coleman, Rubbermaid Commercial Products, Yankee Candle, Paper Mate, FoodSaver, Dymo, EXPO, Elmer's, Oster, NUK, Spontex, and Campingaz.
