Our mission is to ensure premium quality of the LEGO® products by defining quality assurance processes, standards and guidelines for the manufacturing sites, suppliers, and distribution channels.Our key areas and responsibilities:Supplier Quality Management - Global responsible of securing quality assurance of supplied parts and materials for manufacturing sites in Europe, Americas, and Asia.Process Platform Leaders - Responsible to ensure global alignment across the LEGO manufacturing sites through standard processes and evaluation of their compliance.Handling of Product Incidents & Quality in Distribution - an emerging globally operating team ensuring compliance with LEGO quality requirements within LEGO distribution channels and managing processes for effective containment of critical quality incidents. Core Responsibilities- Lead the Supplier Quality team, formed by 3 Supplier Quality Managers, 2 Supplier Quality Engineers and 12 Supplier Quality Technicians (hourly)- Support Procurement on the assessment of potential new suppliers to LEGO Operaciones de México.- Coordinate the training and onboarding of new suppliers.- Coordinate the timely handling of claims with supplier and set up corrective actions for follow-up- Performing supplier audits, identifying non-conformities and areas of potential risks in supplier processes and quality system- Supporting and developing suppliers in establishing improvement programs, verifying implementation of quality improvement programs at suppliers- Establishing and implementing incoming inspection procedure and internal Non-Conforming material handling process- Gathering, analyzing, monitoring, measuring, and reporting the performance data of suppliers. Coordinate the creation of all relevant supplier quality documentation- Close work with other departments and suppliersDo you have what it takes?- 5+ years of experience with quality assurance, manufacturing process, ideally in supplier quality management roles, auditing or in a similar role. Engineering degree or technical is a plus.- 3+ years as People Leader, demonstrated abilities to lead, motivate, manage and develop their team. - Preferably experience with working in a global environment, with different cultures and time zones with direct manager in another region.- Able to work autonomous, self/driven individual. Demonstrate ownership of assigned area of responsibility- Practical / applied knowledge of quality assurance, quality control and risk mitigation tools and processes (FMEA, Control Plan, APQP)
