Come, stay, and grow with us.**Job Description**: This position is intended to be fulfilled by a focused and self-motivated engineer to work on a dynamic Ramp-up of a new manufacturing plant. This experienced engineer in sheet metal work and stamping, develops and implements new processes and machinery standard times and manufacturing procedures for the fabrication area.The basic objectives of this Sr. ME are, develop and implement new processes, keeping processes safe, efficient, zero waste, as well as the continuous improvement. This Sr. ME is also responsible for developing and maintain the current plant layout and for evaluating the future requirements of growth.Principal Duties.- Responsible for the selection and implementation of new processes, machines and/or tooling necessary to support new products.- Determines and controls all manufacturing capabilities within the plant and reports them to the Engineering Department, as well as improving utilization and capacity.- Support operations as sheet metal fabrication process expert.- Develop detail project plans to expand capacity and/or increase efficiency and execute them.- Provide feedback to design engineering to improve the new product introduction process.- Routings calculation and set up.- Determines standard times for fabricated parts of every new product made in the plant.- Analyze and solve problems for production, safety, logistics, engineering, materials and quality departments.- Participate in Safety Risk Assessments.- Responsible for the analysis required for the CARs necessary to support the new product implementation or major process changes.- Selects and supervises all the contractors that are needed to implement new processes, layout changes and/or improvement projects inside the factory including the technical aspects of their work as well as the safety rules compliance.- Support manufacturing functions with design related input and assist in troubleshooting manufacturing issues.- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications: Requirements- Engineering bachelor's degree.- Minimum of five years of progressive experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication processes, including the use of tools like AutoCAD, Solid Works, CREO.- Experience on nesting software like, Lantek, Flexi2bend, Bendex, ProNest, Etc,- Demonstrate experience in following sheet metal processes including: Laser cut (e.G.
