As a Manufacturing SMT Engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our Surface Mount Technology (SMT) manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize SMT production processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence. You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Ciudad Juarez location.
In this role, you will impact our SMT manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in SMT manufacturing technologies will help us stay at the forefront of advanced manufacturing and ensure that we deliver innovative and high-quality products to our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead and oversee SMT manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize SMT production processes and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced SMT manufacturing technologies
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to SMT manufacturing teams
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet SMT production targets
**YOU MUST HAVE**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Proven experience in SMT manufacturing, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles
- Strong knowledge of SMT manufacturing technologies and Panasonic equipment - Experience with data analysis and statistical process control in SMT manufacturing
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
