1.3, Parque STIVA, Santa Catarina, 66350 Mexico This position directly supervises Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees in Manufacturing Engineering.
Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives, and develops recommendations regarding specification requirements, improving products, and reducing costs.
Role Responsibilities Instructs, and checks, under general direction, the work of other manufacturing engineers to ensure that quality and manufacturing standards are met.
Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts to optimize productivity and ensure optimal use of resources.
Participates in designing the sequence of operations and may specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, and other functions that affect product performance, to ensure efficiency and optimize performance.
May provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques to enhance performance and manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements University Degree Minimum 2 years of experience in the area.
Advanced English General knowledge of PLC programming and installations (Allen Bradley).
Technical knowledge of mechanics and electronics.
Compliance with PCR - Process Change Request (Follow up on approved projects).
Coordinate the plans to be able to carry out the certification of processes.
(Kaizen period).
Coordinate activities to increase productivity in your area through improvements in machinery and equipment (Lean Manufacturing).
Promote the implementation of Ergonomics projects and elimination of unsafe conditions.
Coordinate activities to maintain equipment under his area in optimal conditions.
