Sr Mechanical Engineer

**Requirements**:- Creo 7.0, Windchill, Oracle, Aurora experience.- Advanced knowledge on CAD Design tools, design principles, manufacturing methods.- Geen/Black Belt (desired)Activities:- Department improvements and problem-solving activities on new and existing products of the assigned product platforms.- Leads design engineering projects as an integral part of the development and manufacturing teams for NPD and on-going engineering support to address customer satisfaction.- To evaluate existing product related to design, manufacturing, customer complaints, quality deficiencies and performance issues and develop creative solutions.- To improve current designs by reducing cost, improving producibility, quality, testability, increasing robustness and improving reliability.- Lead and participate in new product development and Product transfers activities.- Lead Product Engineering Changes, qualifying and implementing changes.- Generate product portfolio and identify opportunities for cost reduction and manufacturing standardization and engage Quality and Process Engineering to implement.- Applies statistical methods for data collection, analysis and problem solving.- Coordinate assessments over materials properties and behavior for manufacturing processes.- Participate in the development of procedures and tool improvements for engineering department.
