MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER**- Knowledge: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Similar.- Experience in machining, metal-welding manufacturing, or stamping manufacturing environment.- Advanced critical thinking and data driven decision making- Proficiency in mechanical problem solving including static and dynamic analysis, materials selection, heat & surface treatment specification, metrology and design of experiments.- Proficiency in designing floor layout and utility layout for new equipment installations- Proficiency in equipment construction, installation and start up planning and execution supervision- Rapid learner, results oriented- Fully bilingual English / Spanish, including mechanical engineering terminology- Capable of travelling in Mexico, including border cities.- Working knowledge of Manufacturing process, new product introduction and business operating systems- Proficiency in mechanical design software. Solid Works / Autocad preferred- Superior self-awareness and trust builder.**Experience**:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a medium to large manufacturing environment.Capable of working in a matrix team environment with multiple lines of accountability.**Responsibilities**:- Outstanding capacity to project complex situations and reduce through a strong simplification process to practical solutions- Responsible for the execution of manufacturing technology projects involving custom automated machinery including concept development, specification, vendor selection, design, equipment construction management, process control, initial run control and transfer to plant.- Responsible for project implementation in any plant of the water heater division, including Nuevo Laredo, Mexicali and Montgomery Al.- Responsible for carrying out daily activities while ensuring the safety and integrity of the entire staff, using tools such as the 7 habits of highly effective people and Emotional Intelligence- Responsible for fulfilling daily with all the established criteria and adopt a culture of order and cleanliness according to the 20 keys culture.- Responsible for his decisions and actions to successfully contribute with our Quality Policy.
