Sr Mfg Engineering Technician

Técnico Programador Laser (Sr Mfg Engineering Technician) Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will ensure quality documentation of processes exist, compliance standards are followed and timely process of customer orders are achieved. Key Responsibilities Create each program for each part number in the "Amada" software, according to the Honeywell drawings for the assembly lines. Edit/modify programs for improvements and engineering changes. Development of 3D parts from 2D drawings for creating programs. Generate and control folder structure and programs for all models and part numbers. Interpretation of drawings and geometric tolerances. Experience in cutting processes such as laser, plasma, pantograph, CNC router or any 2D system. Knowledge of CAD programs SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD. Basic experience in manufacturing processes (cutting, bending, drilling, sealing, welding, pressing/die-cutting) Knowledge of measurement systems. Basic knowledge of computers and Office. Shift availability (1st and 2nd shift) Extra time availability (Saturdays) Organized. Effective communication. Focused on your work. YOU MUST HAVE High School Diploma or equivalent WE VALUE Intermediate-basic written English. Competency in drawing print reviews. Proficient computer skills. Understanding of manufacturing standards. Good communication skills. Ability to set priorities. SAP experience. Ability to work independently. Manufacturing experience preferred.
