- Leads a team of accountants, and manages large-scale projects and activities for a medium-sized organization.
- Manages general ledger preparation, government accounting activities, and/or projects, to assure timely completion and accuracy of accounting activities.
- Develops and maintains accounting principles and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.
- Ensures compliance of accounting policies, procedures and controls for all the projects and financial statements.
- Oversees the preparation and presentation of management reports and / or corporate reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information.
- Monitors budget and forecast activity in order to track the organization's budgets and ensure that budgets are maintained.
