Sr Network Engineer

Requirements:
Provides Network engineering and support in a primarily Cisco environment. Uses troubleshooting skills to addresses incident tickets, and root cause analysis.Executes network changes following standard processes.This position also follows established processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Creates and updates documentation as directed. Participates in 7x24 on-call rotation.Focuses on and completes assigned project work including customer driven projects, maintenance and patching, and hardware/software upgrades. This position will interact with Managers, Customers, and functional peer groups. Must participate in cross functional support teams.You must be able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and writing. Responsibilities:
Strong written and verbal communications skills. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing protocols, Load balancing concepts Knowledge and experience in VTP and Spanning tree and other switching technologies Hands on experience on Cisco Nexus 7K,5K switches, Cisco routers, & Juniper OS devices Solid knowledge of Cisco ASA Solid understanding and experience on BGP & OSPF Solid knowledge and experience on F5 (Round Robin and Least Connections) Ability to work delivery on multiple concurrent projects and tasks with conflicting priorities Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
