What do you get to do in this position?
* Support the implementation of Manufacturing Execution System for the production area/lines (parametrization and setup for customer products) * Actively participate in design reviews for processes requiring MES deployment while giving on data collection and retention at each step * Lead develop and integration of system design software for Manufacturing Execution Systems * Define equipment required to achieve requirements of equipment specification * Plan and provide detailed training on system design, maintenance and troubleshooting to various customer skills to maintain system uptime * Support of existing system designs and production issues will be required both locally and at various sites globally * Drive definition of facility network, firewalls, cybersecurity and VPN requirements to support MES systems * Maintains up to date knowledge of technologies and utilizes this knowledge to specify and develop innovative solutions * Continuous improvement and process support including interaction between MES and ERP (or other local Systems) Qualifications This job might be for you if: * Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) * 3+ years of experience in a role in Manufacturing IT, Engineering, and/or Automation * Understanding of ERP, SAP systems and interfaces to MIS/MES systems Skills: * Extensive experience with C++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, Oracle * Excellent knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, SQL or MySQL) * MS Visual Studio, ASP.NET * Previous experience with MES or manufacturing area technologies (is a plus) Critical Behaviors: * Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal) * Proven ability to work successfully in a multicultural, virtual environment across various functions (design engineering, purchasing, quality, marketing, finance, mfg operations and others) * Proven ability to influence and convince through negotiation * Motivated self-starter, who able to work in parallel on multiple projects * Strong attention to detail * Facilitator to drive problem solving and troubleshooting activities * Work with minimal supervision Schedule: Full-time Req: 0097K8
