.Job TitleSr. Permits SpecialistPosition PurposeThe main objective of the position is to help facilitate the opening of stores in Mexico City and Mexico, by fulfilling the process of opening new stores in a transversal way supported by all the functions of Store Development. This position will work with areas such as permits, design, construction and Real Estate, to ensure that all documentation is correct, that processes and deadlines are followed. He also visits cities and will meet with outside vendors, owners, plazas and other people involved in the process. The main responsibility of this position is to increase the efficiency in the opening of stores in CDMX, reduce the rate of fall of sites and reduce cycle times, while continuing to ensure compliance with the policies of the company FCPA and AZ.Primary Accountabilities- Ensure the validity of the documentation with Real Estate and owners to ensure a clean process of opening new stores, with the support of Legal, Store Development, Permits and Design. Advise property owners of the documentation required for the legal agreement with AutoZone and accompany them to government offices to update or obtain their property documents.- Implement the process of opening new stores in CDMX and the State of Mexico with all the necessary areas and validate that the proposed store design meets local requirements to begin the construction and permitting process.- Find and develop suppliers that provide more adequate services to work in Mexico City and Mexico under the criteria provided by the CAT. He is responsible for collecting all the necessary stationery from the vendors assigned to the project.- Coordinate and attend visits to delegations with other areas of AZ, to present our company and indicate our level of interest in opening these markets. This will include a classification of the commercial capacity of the various delegations in CDMX, and the willingness to accept AZ and the FCPA and other compliance recommendations. As legal guardian, he is able to deliver official AutoZone documents required by the authority.- Assists other areas of Store Development, such as Design and Construction, to obtain missing information on proposed or existing projects, such as: photos, reports, site visits. If necessary, this may include visits to other areas of the cities to validate such information. In addition, visit the contractors on the sites and with AZ Construccion to determine the ideal store format according to the physical location.- Link the new store permit team with permit renewals, to help operations renew permits and avoid problems such as possible operation closures. Also work with Property Management, Loss Prevention and Maintenance to solve any problem that needs local assistance. You must ensure that all activities described in the new store process are covered, even after the store is opened.- Support the Legal team to handle notifications of the authority within CDMX or in the State of Mexico
