Position Title: Sr Plant EngineerReporting position: Engineering ManagerDepartament: EngineeringLocation: Monterrey, NL**Main responsibilities**:Lead discovery, development, approval, management, and closure for projects realizing full compliance with business needs. Responsibilities focus on customer interactions and ideation necessary to produce quality and cost effective solutions. Projects include both expense and capital, compling with all Mexican regulations and corporate standards. This position considers people safety, product quality, environmental awareness, equipment safety, and consumer safety in all project executions, contributing to successful delivery of all project key metrics.Model and act in accordance with Hershey's guiding principles.**Relevant Processes**:- Technical scope:_Champion interactions necessary for discovery and evaluation of opportunities in any plant area leading to quality and cost effective solutions for investment proposals.Develop project scope and functional specifications that solve business needs in full compliance with SafeQualityFoods (SQF).Lead project justification efforts including EHS, QDR, and project template / HSY200 documents necessary for financial and technical reviews.Interface with suppliers to realize best-fit solutions for equipment, facilities, plant operations and support.Supervise internal and external work, including; Mechanical, Electrical,Civil, Structural, Instrumentation & Control as required by project deliverables.Organize and direct startup activities, including; checkout, cleaning, systematic starts, materials availability, operations readiness, support and work teams.Interact and lead multidisciplinary groups to prioritize and resolve opportunities to reach financial and operational claims.- Administrative scope:_Direct production of all project related documentation, including drawings, work scopes, operating specifications, planning and scheduling, transmittals, centerlines, and closures.Manage capital budgets, scheduling, procurement and logistics of all materials and contractual services necessary.Coordinate project meetings necessary for client, provider, and contractor communications.Provide timely meeting summaries and status update communications contributing to clear understanding of responsibilities and expectations of all resources.**Requirements**:- 7 years in charge of projects, administration and/or construction.- 95% English language proficiency- MS Office, Autocad (desired), SAP- General technical knowledge in all disciplines: civil, mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation and control.- Knowledge of quality standards; GMP's, SQF, HACCP- Knowledge of safety standards- Knowledge engineering standards- Planning and budget management**Education**:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical or ElectricalLI-JS1LI-Onsite
