The functional leader performing the Product Engineering Assy role is responsible for managing the product from the development phase to NPI and for ensuring the product is ready to hand off to the NPI team. This is determined through a Risk Assessment/Tech Plan process from concept phases to manufacturing, where all the process areas are evaluated considering all the design rules and process capabilities.
