The Sr.
Process engineer introduces new products, using tools for project management to assure our equipment and production processes accomplish with safety, reliability, product quality and confidentiality LEGO requirements.
Core Responsibilities:

- Implements new products, platforms, and Projects implementation core activities
- Validates new platforms and process definition according project model standard.
- Ensures adherence to Business unit initiatives (TIP) using project model management.
- Follow-up Machine´s safety risk assessments considering local global methodologies.
- Performs ergonomic assessments to new products and platforms considering local and global regulations.
- Participates as platform driver at Lego Mexico coordinating and implementing standards (ECR) of the current equipment technologies.
- Contacts with a platform owner and sites platform drivers, participating into the global standardization forums.
- Cooperates with R&D department in the implementation of new technologies, critical changes to the process and equipment.
- Implement constant improvements projects using Lean manufacturing assessments and statistics analysis tools as methodology.
Business unit KPI control and Daily supports
- Follows up SQDCP KPI´s and daily support when is required, participating into daily huddles, gemba walks, meetings and also use Lean manufacturing methodology.
- Performs process risk assessments using FMEA as risk control method.
- Supports control of definition using core tools as a methodology to perform this activity.
- Supports technical documentation to process definition (procedures, troubleshooting and visual aids).
- Controls department´s budget using the correct cost center and also support resources needed.
- Gives support in the Process flexibility definition when is needed in order to balance the line loads (Product transfer and equipment usage).

Do you have what it takes?
- Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Electronic, Mechatronic engineering graduate
- 3+ years of experience working as Process Engineer, Production Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Automation Engineer, in an Assembly, Maintenance, Process, Industrial, Production, Manufacturing engineering position area as minimum
- Willing to travel, time availability, result oriented
- Experience: Automotive, Packaging, Toy Industry, Electrical, and mechanical industries.
- Previous experience handling Lean manufacturing tools
- Mechanical, pneumatic, electronic, automation and electric knowledge is desired.
- Experience working with 2D and 3D software.
- Finance knowledge in costing and budgeting
