Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Sr Process Engineer.What you'll do:Lead cross-functional team to ensure Safety, Quality and Efficiency of the Rubber Molding Process.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in MRP area related to safety, productivity, cost out, waste elimination and Quality serving as team leader on complex assignments by interfacing with VSM Managers, Front Line Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers, Product Engineers, Maintenance Team, Process technicians and Operators.Identify opportunities for process improvement. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the Department.Lead and train process technicians.Drive long term projects to completion. Coordinate follow-up action items on improvement initiatives. Develop systems that assure initiatives and project improvements are sustained.Analyze and solve process, mold and/or auxiliary equipment problems (troubleshooting).Complete and maintain up to date, the required documentation.Partner/lead interaction with maintenance, engineering, quality, material planners to drive process improvements such as scrap reduction, material flow, setup reduction, and start up times.Replace obsolete molding equipment.Participate with multidisciplinary teams for MESH compliance and incident investigations.Establish and identify best layout distribution.Optimize process parameters to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.Define the appropriate tooling to warranty Ergonomics, quality and productivity.Qualifications:Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics)Skills:Demonstrated knowledge in Rubber Injection Molding Processes.Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing tools and manufacturing processes.Problem solving tools (5s's, 8D's, Ishikawa, A3), Background or experience in quality basics such as statistical process control, capability studies and gage R&R's.Knowledge on machinery functions (hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic operations), Yellow Belt/Green Belt certification will be considered a plus, SAP knowledge focuses in Manufacturing Processes.Outstanding influencing and communication skills.We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
