The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.Role PurposeWe are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Engineer to join our engineering department. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for leading and overseeing various engineering projects, providing technical expertise, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides day-to-day problem-solving support to production, development and research operationsTrouble shoots material, process and equipment issues, identifies root cause and implements corrective actionDaily monitor of metrics, identifying special and common causesCreate and update manufacturing procedures to maximize process efficiencyLead and be team member of manufacturing cost reduction and product/process improvement DMAIC projects (product design, materials, processes, tooling, quality control, production equipment capabilities).
