Like this one._What You Will Do- Support customer quotations for new electronics product designs by providing estimated process, tooling, and equipment cost for assembly concepts- Work closely with the Product Engineering team to ensure that new products are designed for manufacturing per Harman process specifications.- Using Harman's AME Standard Operating Procedures, ensure pilot Design Validation activities meet the Product Lifecycle Management milestone objectives.- Collaborate with cross-funtional team to launch, test and validate new tools, machines and processes in global manufacturing locations.- Work to close any open design validation issues prior to industrialization of the manufacturing plant.- Support manufacturing launch team on daily activities during Process Validation (PV) phase- Using robust Design of Experiments, develop new and additional high-volume manufacturing capabilities with outside integrators from concept through successful operation.- Work with all engineering disciplines and manufacturing to identify cost reduction opportunities- Initiate design changes for value engineering.- Participates and provides support related with quality and EHSS systems management, objectives, targets and programs.What You Need- BSMET, BSEET, or equivalent degree with 3 to 10 years of related experience- Thorough knowledge of machine design concepts- Solid Modeling CAD experience required, like CREO, Solid works or equivalent is preferred- Machine runoff and statistical analysis (gage R&R etc.) experience- Process documentation and work instructions creation- Demonstrated experience with mechanical automation and integration- Knowledge of PLC and PC machine control (Omron, Rockwell, Visual Basic, C Sharp)- Project financeWhat is Nice to Have- Demonstrated success in leading a global team- Knowledge of machining & fabricating processes
