If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Sr Process Engineer (Rework) located in Guadalajara, North Site.The Sr Process Engineer (Rework) role is in charge of process-engineering capabilities focused on cost, quality and delivery improvements in order to support a manufacturing organization.What a typical day looks like:Recognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques and the product.Define, implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability.Identify root causes of failures in the manufacturing process.Participate in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production.Oversee new process equipment production.Raise and introduce engineering change orders (ECOs).Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters.Develop, implement and take ownership of process control methodologies.Troubleshoot process-related issues.Participate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.Evaluate and select various engineered materials.Implement statistical process research on new and existing products.Implement safety and productivity improvements.Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities.Develop and maintain process documentation.Review processing methods.Interface with production on activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.The experience we're looking to add to our team:Bachelor's degree in engineering in electronics, mechatronics or related field.Strong experience in the electronic manufacturing industry as a Process Engineer.Advanced English (spoken and written).Strong knowledge in rework processes of critical components in highly complex electronic boards (BGA).Strong knowledge in thermal processes, profiling processes, and equipment/tooling.Experience in complex PCBAs.Experience in qualification of rework processes.Knowledge in profiling processes on Sierra machine (SRT).IPC 7711/7721 certification.IPC 7095 certification
