**Job Details**The Procurement Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing and managing data to provide key insights for actionable improvements to the Procurement organization.The Procurement Analyst will be a key contributor in providing analytical-level support to the Procurement Category teams.The role requires analytical rigor and technical expertise to produce fact based summary information.The Procurement Analyst role is a strategic and tactical position responsible for developing and managing key internal stakeholder relationships across the Procurement organization.Additionally the Procurement Analyst will assist senior management by preparing meeting materials and facilitating regular meetingsKey characteristics for this role- Problem solving ability - they look beyond the obvious and follow through on ensuring the problem is corrected.- Independent Thinker - is able to develop a methodology to approach problems and tasks without constant supervision.- Willing and able to adapt to different situations.- Able to prioritize- Desire to continually improve- Comfortable working at various levels within the organization**Responsibilities Include**:- Enterprise Spend Reporting & Payment terms reporting - be an expert in reporting on spend and supplier master information especially payment terms- Analytics lead for SCF (Supply Chain Finance) and TWC (Trade Working Capital) reporting at Johnson Controls- Develops metrics that provide JCI's leadership with the information needed to make critical decisions and manage issues- Provides analytical support to the Procurement organization Category teams, Regional Procurement- Proactively manages needs and expectations.- Builds effective relationships with key influencers.- Drive improvements in the quality of data - meet with key procurement personnel to understand issues with data and work across the organization to correct data- Builds dashboards and metrics which provide useful insight- Driving standardization, creating enterprise reports that achieve economies of scale- Understand key procurement data standards e.G. Enterprise Taxonomy, Company organizational units**Requirements**:- Experience with data visualization / dashboards e.G. PowerBI, Tableau- High level of expertise in Excel and/or Access- Bachelor degree. Preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management or Information Systems- Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SQL- Ability to work independently- Understanding of Sourcing and Procurement.- Flexible team player who can work in a global organization.- Excellent Communication Skills, Written and Spoken- 5+ years experience in either supply chain or data analytics
