You will negotiate midsize value contracts with complex requirements while meeting internal client objectives and achieving maximum overall cost effectiveness.
You will directly interact with your internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities Frontline supplier managementResponsible for placing POs, managing acknowledgment, handling changes in PPVs, and conducting spot buys for delivery-related issuesTrack shipments to ensure materials arrive on timeWork directly with material planners to execute scheduling changes and deliver forecasts to suppliersAct as the supplier lead time ownerCoordinate work with suppliers, manage risks, and collaborate with Business Unit partners on commercial issues, terms, conditions, and specificationsEnsure that purchased materials align with operational needs, considering cost, quality, and timeliness of deliveryOrder all materials and components due to changes in customer demand, inventory discrepancies, or rejects to ensure the efficient running of production linesDevelop ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance, and work towards a strategy of continuous improvementAssist in resolving discrepancies, commercial issues, change orders, or cancellations related to purchase ordersEnsure suppliers acknowledge POs, follow up on past due, unconfirmed, and execute exception messagesResolve invoice issues related to delivery, PO management, delegated pricing, or T&C issuesMaintain 100% accuracy of supplier contact informationDrive purchasing operations metrics improvementDrive automation/digital connections with suppliersParticipate in daily Tier meetings and operations reviewsYOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree2+ years of experience with SAP5+ years of Purchasing experience, Supply Chain operations, and Manufacturing operationsFluent in EnglishWE VALUE Good communication skillsProblem-solving skill setAct with urgencyNegotiation skillsTeam playerDrive to achieve/exceed goalsAdditional InformationJOB ID: HRD251193Category: ProcurementLocation: Av.
