As a Sr. Procurement Project Management Specialist, you will have a strong understanding of project management activities, including the end-to-end project management process in a fast paced, complex business environment.
In this job you would be responsible to lead and drive $500M+ spend in eSourcing annually for ESS procurement.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for leading the MOS for UOP procurement organization which includes driving of productivity reviews and help team develop additional negotiation opportunities and maintain productivity pipeline sufficiency above 125%.
You will be responsible to align with cross functional teams (i.e.
Sourcing, project management, technology, corporate procurement, eSourcing tactical team) to understand and remove bottlenecks in the process.
Looking for pro-active individual with out of box thought process who can become change agent in the organization by driving continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work with Strategic sourcing teams to identify and help execute eSourcing projects with the help of eSourcing tactical team
- Create and run MOS for procurement productivity pipeline management across UOP organizations to improve pipeline sufficiency and execution.
- Review key commodity forecasts and align pricing forecast to capture and report headwinds
- Run and maintain procurement forecasting process by obtaining material volumes from planning group and pricing from strategic sourcing group
- Single point of contact for all productivity pipeline related queries
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes to ensure higher forecasting accuracy while improving forecasting cycle time
- Expected to perform root cause analysis (RCA), brainstorm and explore creative solutions with focus on implementation by aligning with cross functional teams
- Work directly with project management, strategic sourcing, technology teams to understand bottlenecks and drive improvements in fast paced environment.
- Publish reports and metrics on daily, weekly, and monthly basis and align with ESS and corporate procurement on project status and actions planned to hit annual target (AOP)
- Experience in data analysis, use of EDW (enterprise data warehouse) for analytics would be an added advantage
**YOU MUST HAVE**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
- 5+ years of proven experience in sourcing/operations/supply chain or related domain
- Hands-on experience in driving MOS & supporting Reporting / Analytic
