This position is part of the Corporate Indirect Procurement Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST). This is a key procurement role responsible for key Indirect Sourcing category strategies, execution, and results to optimize total cost of ownership at the Honeywell ESS Gulf Coast Chemical plant campus. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.HoneywellOur Safety and productivity solutions help create faster, more seamless, agile, and efficient supply chains, better protect human health, improve worker safety, and help meet sustainability goals by leveraging connectivity, advanced data analytics, software, robotics, sensors, advanced materials and integrated human and automated systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop robust commodity strategies for the Category Strategy Team considering quality, cost, speed, service requirements, market conditions, risks, competitive landscape, and projected changes over the strategic planning horizon.Partner with the Buying Operations Team and ESS functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and support of category strategy creation and execution.Consolidate fragmented Site spend, reduce the use of non-strategic suppliers, and move procurement activities upstream to bring greater value to Honeywell.Reduce complexity and increase leverage with the supply base to drive incremental value and cost reduction.Execute the annual operating plan through year-over-year improvements in productivity, working capital, quality, delivery, and supply continuity.Negotiate and execute supply agreements with strategic suppliers capable of meeting established business requirements.Act as Sourcing/procurement single point of contact for ISC/Site personnel for ESS Campus sites.Improve internal customer satisfaction and overall ESS Campus site performance.Build strong technical solutions including new technology, VA/VE, CE product, and cost improvements with the supply base.Participate and ensure success with Zero Based Budgeting at ESS Campus sites.Engage with business and functional leadership to align on business needs/objectives and communicate performance/results.Develop and lead site productivity reviews and kaizen strategy (BAE) events/initiatives focused on supplier productivity, working capital, and value generation.Build a thorough understanding of Honeywell purchasing processes (Source-to-Contract, Procurement-to-Pay) to drive process improvements.Invoice resolution, problem solving, and continuous improvement focus.Training experience with requestors to drive compliance and improve processes.Present campus results and develop action plans to mitigate any gaps to financial targets.YOU MUST HAVE:7+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience, including at least 4 years in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation
