Responsibilities Analyze, plan, organize and complete projects of a very complex nature.
Develops scope and provides creative solutions.
Plan, organize and carry out technical projects.
Consolidates the results of the design elements of the main projects for the purpose of revising the design.
Integrates subsystems and components in the design of total systems.
Develop specifications based on customer requirements.
Development of design evaluations, participation in design acceptance reviews.
Actively participates as owner in the delivery of CAPA actions (Corrective/Preventive actions).
Coordinates joint efforts with the materials group to evaluate the design changes requested by the supplier.
Maintain, update product specifications and/or drawings if necessary.
Verifies that the project design plan is carried out according to the established guidelines and that the design validation documentation package confirms that the initially set confidence levels were met.
Participates with New Product Introduction Engineering in the development of assembly methods that ensure quality in the process.
Check that the engineering drawings for components are clear, accurate and complete.
Verifies that the requirements forIncoming Inspection are defined and are appropriate to detectany possible failure in its function and/or attributes Creates and submits documents such as validation, engineering and other reports as required by their functions in the system for documentation control.
Ensures the easy and effective manufacturability of component joints by focusing on possible risks of incompatibility between components caused by dimensional tolerances.
Complete design verification and process validation.
Create validation protocols, determine sample sizes for testing, and writeprotocols- validation reports.
Coordinates with Quality Engineering to complete validations as required Responsible for creating and monitoring and complying with the design controls that they generate and involve the manufacturing plant.
Followup the Design Development Plan Phases accordingly to the project to meet all requirements.
Work with R&D, Design Quality and Regulatory to comply requirements on changes and specifications.
