**Sr Product Engineer **for operations in Central Offices Structures (Saltillo, Coahuila)

As Sr **Product Engineer **you will be responsible for Manages all technical aspects of our products for specified customers. This includes having a complete understanding of all product specifications, ensuring global Product Standards accuracy, working with the technical teams (Corporate) to develop products, meeting and building relationships with global contacts for design and engineering. This position also has responsibility for global and regional product approvals (permit deviation), launches and lean process development. Strong collaboration with the operations teams is required.
**YOUR TASK WILL BE**
**Launch at Facility**
- On site root cause analysis of issues
- NA / EU structures engineering interface
- Develop prototypes / product validation
- Product KPCs review
**Releases to Plant (serial programs)**
- Program Management / Customer interphase
- PLM management
- New changes releases
- CR/ CN submission (drawings review/mark up, CN details, BOM updates, DR submission)
- Communicate upcoming design changes to facility
- Managing ETR's and PTR's
**Quality and design related Issues**
- On location engineering analysis "root cause"
- Communicate requirements
- Support and analyze product verification testing
- Analyze product variation to design and requirements
**Support to plants**
- Drawing's interpretation
- Use of checking fixtures
- Stack up analysis
- Root cause analysis (tear down, dimensional analysis, PWs, etc.)
- Filter in engineering permits
**TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED**:
- Materials, Mechatronics technical degree or equivalent automotive, seating or mechanisms related experience
- 3-5 years working experience at similar role.
- Multilingual - English and Spanish
- Drawings interpretation / GD&Ts medium
- Working knowledge of CAD (Solidworks, Catia, NX)
- Working knowledge of engineering tools such as FMEA, 8Ds, A4s, root cause analysis
- Knowledge of productive processes such as MIG welding, RW, Projection welding), cold staking / orbital forming, assembly process
- Knowledge of ERP / MRP software
