Internal/External Job PostingPurpose: This position is responsible for providing support and performing project activities related to:Writing Engineering Change OrdersWriting BOM's in SAPCorrecting BOM errorsSummarizing testing data and DVP&RConducting Tear Down of project samples and reporting findingsTo meet customers' requirements and expectations under the supervision and mentoring of Lead Acid System Engineers. Assist as needed in project activities related to the build of engineering samples to measure and sample, plates, DUF, and WET batteries and process parameters.Specific Responsibilities and Deliverables:Execute activities related to the design, development, and validation of products.Prepare detailed plans to track area performance and assure timely completion and achievement of project goals.Support team members on any regional product line projects.Report on project progress to management on a weekly and monthly basis.Participate in analyzing new designs using DFMEA and risk assessment.Coordinate testing and analyze results.Participate in D-FMEA development.Responsible for BOM documentation and release for ED/DV/PV trials.Plan and follow project sample testing required for OE, OES, and AM programs.Lead Acid equipment and tool knowledge.Work in small teams for build execution as necessary.Support engineering product validations required for OE, OES, and AM programs.Prepare final DVP&R´s.Critical Interfaces for this Position:Product leader in the regionBattery and material test lab managersProduct Development and Validation EngineersInternal Test lab managers & External test lab vendorsChange management committeeCustomer test labProgram ManagerPreferred Courses:Proficiency in Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Production Planning & Control, Operations Research, Statistics, Process Fundamentals, General Chemistry & Physics–Mechanics, Quality Assurance, SolidWorks, Mathematics.Qualifications:BS in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.Experience in battery or automotive industries.Knowledge in Six Sigma preferred.Travel expectation is 10 - 20% between Milwaukee and other Clarios sites as necessary.About Clarios:Clarios is the global leader in advanced, low-voltage battery technologies for mobility.
