Product and material cost reduction programs. Sr. Product Engineer Leader must work with the team functional at the plant to complete tasks and give support to production area to accomplish business goals.About the Job:- Work with the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Engineers and those assigned to the support area, to generate and follow up on new business opportunities.- Ensure that the deliverables of the new pitches as well What adapt and implement systems _ at the plant in the new products.- Coordinate activities and communicate progress status and program metrics for new products to Engineering Manager and/or Plant Management team on a regular basis.- Facilitate the development of the preparation of Process Flow Diagram & DFMEA, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and process control plans for launch programs assigned.- Facilitate events for which key tasks are completed on time and documented correctly in launch metrics.- Ensure that inspection plans appropriate containment plans and production release criteria are meet for a release insurance for all new products.- Manage cost reduction programs in materials, design, process and suppliers.- Release the new products to regular production.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.About You:- Bachelor or university degree in Engineering (Electronic or Electric, Mechatronic Engineer)- Project Management Certification,- SMT & TH knowledge and experience.- Conformal coating and encapsulation process experience.- Testing and diagnostic expertise related to SMT processes.- Good follow up skills.- Good communication skills both written and oral.- Result oriented.- Problem solving skills (G8D expertise).- Attention to details.- Quality System knowledge (Core Tools expertise).- Interpretation of electrical diagrams.- Experience in the electronic industry.- Proficient English - 85% minimum. (reading, writing, speaking, listening).- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering area.- Domain of quality management systems, PPAP, APQP- Transformation Processes Methodologies.- Green belt and/or Black belt Knowledge.- Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
