Job Description The main challenges for this position are the management of the day-to-day operation, ensuring the teamwork and alignment with the other areas (machine maintenance, mould maintenance, change overs, materials) is done, to ensure the efficient operation and problems are solved.
What Your Day Will Look Like Lead the moulding production module operations (192 machines), through the administration of a team of employees (+60) in collaboration with other operational areas.Make sure the Moulding Production Area, following established safety, quality, and cost parameters, and ensure compliance of the main area critical metrics.Handle a group of employees, ensuring their safety, development and building a high performing, motivated team.Ensure resources and competences within the team, following up their development.Continuously improve performance of staff, equipment and processes, contributing with Moulding local & global, and other areas.Collaborate across sites and departments to share & drive projects, secure the standard processes and relevant operational information supporting the Moulding wheel activities/Super goals.Coordinate with local & global partners the accurate alignment and expectations, see opportunities, drive and support on Continuous Improvement Projects, using the LCI tools (PPS, RIE, FB, etc), identifying root causes and implement accurate action-plan and follow up.Drive the appropriate implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes, complying the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to the area to have the accurate standardization and safety behaviors.Coordinate with Local Stakeholders the accurate delivery and balance of the Moulding Activities to ensure deliver high end results (Loss Reports).Collaborate with the Global Production Network ensuring the accurate follow up, deployments, agree on expectations and discussion of initiatives that impact directly the performance to continue having an outstanding Moulding production, through the standardization and harvesting the benefits in the short term horizon.Are you up for the challenge? +7 years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.Experience leading group of people (60+).Over 3 years of experience in leadership role in production or manufacturing environment.PC proficient, Excel intermediate or advanced, SAP is a plus.English at advanced.Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
