We are offering a **Production Planner** position. You will play a key role in meeting our ambitious aspirations for the future.
You will be responsible for daily execution against the production plan for assembled and manufactured components. Utilize MRP to review and create order releases, monitor and maintain action and exception messages, and manage inventory levels for internal components and assemblies. The growing awareness world-wide for environment and energy savings are enabling us to deliver strong value to our customers and we need you to support our continued success.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Create a production plan based on the plant master schedule.
- Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line.
- Received and update production orders to reflect changes in BOM's.
- Expedite and assign priorities to production orders, cascading priorities to internal supply plants.
- To be the plant campaigner finishing all production orders older than 2 weeks.
- Deliver Work Orders on time and Drive accountability for past due status.
- Process and create intercompany orders as needed.
- WO schedule attainment in daily basis.
- Drive sales according to the financial plan.
- Negotiate and seek for approval for expedites of finish goods to our customers.
**Background & Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or supply Chain
- 3-5 years of experience scheduling Materials in manufacturing Industry
- Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation _skills._
- Proven experience using forecasting tools, min max analysis and Make to Order
- Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, _Kanban._
- APICS CSCP and/or CPIM Certification preferred.
- Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- MfgPro software knowledge _preferred._
- Bilingual English/Spanish
